The stars represent the capitol cities, where the castles are kept.
The Kingdom of Penuria
The White Kingdom; The Kingdom of Penuria is one of the Prosperous Three, despite being entirely landlocked between the other Two and a few, smaller, insignificant Kingdoms. Its agricultural industry is booming; all kinds of plants and vegetables are grown in its countryside. The export these homegrown goods to the other Two, as well as to the smaller, outlying Kingdoms that simply do not have enough supplies for their population. They also produce clothing; Penuria is easily the most fashion-forward of all the kingdoms. They don’t just make them to keep themselves clothed; they make them to make a statement. Things such as masquerade balls and runway shows are some of their main entertainment events. The people as a whole, however untraditional their clothing may be, are quite traditional in their mannerisms and beliefs. Almost to the point of superstition. While they are rivals in terms of power.. Penurians often whisper about how most Paritans are some sort of..supernatural creatures. Such as the old-age werewolves and vampires, whose tales have dwindled down to near nonexistence over the years.
The Kingdom of Medius
The Grey Kingdom; The Kingdom of Medius is one of the Prosperous Three, as well, and the largest Kingdom on the continent. Despite having the largest amount of land, it has the smallest population of the Three. Nearly all of that land, however, is covered in dense forests and a few marshes surrounding the lakes. They do own a part of the bay’s coast, but their fishing industry is mostly just for sustenance; instead using the water to power some lumber machinery. Unlike their sunny neighbors, the weather in the Grey Kingdom is average at best; the only downfall being that when it rains, it pours. And when it pours, it floods. While some believe this to be the cause for their quick growing forests, others find it a nuisance as the cities are forced to practically shut down when it does. As a general people, Medians tend to be a rather suspicious sort; polite and kind, but very wary of strangers and even more so of strangers from a foreign Kingdom. Their hospitality is world renowned, though.
The Kingdom of Pariter
The Black Kingdom; The Kingdom of Pariter is the last of the Prosperous Three. It is a seaside kingdom, stretching out over most of the coastline and across most of the large bay that partially separates it from The Kingdom of Medius. Despite being only a little more than half the size of its Grey neighbour, the population of Pariter is nearly double. Having an endless amount of easy access points to the ocean, their economy is almost entirely based off of their fishing and marine industries. Fish, whale fat, pearls, shells, sand. All of it and everything that can be made from those, make up their exports. While as a people, Paritans are extremely hardworking in the times they are working.. When they are not, they can become a little lazy in non-work related things. Sleeping is practically the Kingdom’s past time, as its often far too sunny outside to be comfortable. They’re not terribly superstitious, though the majority of the population tend to be a bit more religious than those from neighboring Kingdoms.
